【Remembrance of Spring】New Year Musical Drama - 2015 NUSCS Spring Festival Gala

Published Date

This is a story formed by a series of stories.

It seems to have many plots, yet none of them really is,

It mirrors our daily lives, and the world we live in today.

Story outline

The story behind【Remembrance of Spring】is based on the lives in NUS. It portrays characters ranging from students, professors and members of the society, and humorously unrolls their growth and memories within one year, bypassing the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The story begins in spring, when students meet during university orientation - all young and energetic. When it comes to summer, they are indulged in studies, CCAs and works. As autumn wind rises, feelings of stress, loneliness and sadness from breakups set in. Will these negative encounters turn for the better? Quietly, winter approaches, it is a time when we learn to appreciate life as we bid goodbye and persevere in hope of a better sp

ring. Although it is cold during winter, we are warmed by the accompany of loved ones, by the fact that at this moment, we are together.

As the seasons pass and the year comes to an end, it is time for us to sit down and enjoy a concert to recall the encounters in the passing year. NUS Chinese Society sincerely presents to you the annual New Year Musical Drama - “Remembrance of Spring”. The innovative and unique programme outline will give a different definition to the Spring Festival Gala. Moreover, the song and dance integrated with drama plots will better showcase the artistic charm of different cultures.
