The 48th St. Gallen Symposium will be held from 2–4 May 2018 at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and is devoted to the theme “Beyond the end of work”. The St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award is the world’s foremost student essay competition giving you the extraordinary opportunity to share your voice and discuss your ideas with some of the world’s most influential luminaries.

Winter is coming (not)! But exams are! Do you feel the tensions building up with last few weeks of lectures and all the deadlines closing in?  Are examination worries getting the better of you? Worry not! In fact, sweat it out with the goodie bag we have in store for you.

We, Graduate Students’ Society have prepared for you a special goodie bag to sweat off the exam stress. And that’s not it, to help you sweat it out more, we have a Zumba session organized just for you. So, come one, come all, grab your goodie bags and dance your stress away!

Goodie bag giveaway details:

Day 1: 13 November, 1:30 - 3:30 PM, Benches outside Central Library
Day 2:

Zumba session details:

GSS Coffee Chat Series - Resume Writing Workshop

Are you worried about how to improve your resume? GSS is delighted to organize a set of interactive workshops (and) seminars as part of "Coffee Chat series" exclusively for Graduate students. The theme of the Coffee Chat seminar is “How to write a resume so good that none can miss”.

In this session, you can look forward to practical tips on how you can craft a compelling resume. You will also learn about the essential differences in the content and presentation of resumes for jobs  in academia and those in other sectors.

So, come and join on Friday, 10 November 2017, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Paris Room, YIH. Limited seats available.
