MR. YUANFUZHANG PERSONAL EXHIBITION IN SINGAPORE

Are you interested in Chinese arts and painting? There is an opportunity you can’t miss. Mr. Yuan Fuzhang personal exhibition will be held in Singapore from 7th Jan to 11th Jan.

Yuan Fuzhang is the master of Zhenyizhai, the member of Tianjin Artists Association, Chinese painter with capability and the chief signed painter of Singapore Asia Tong

International Group.

His works has been displayed in national exhibition of fines arts formany times, won awards and published in various media.

Exhibition:

1. Pure Chinese palace traditional Chinese realistic painting art and elements in Singapore, such as bird park mandarin duck and the parrot, botanical garden, swan, etc.

2. The painter created this surprised world Buddhism theme scrollThe painting of 500 arhats, the 100cm-high and 4300cm-long work, describing 500 arhats, 64 servants

and 36 animals like dragons, elephants, phoenixes and peacocks. The scroll presents a prevalent auspiciousness and embodies the yearning for a benevolent and peaceful world.

Student Essay Competition for the St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award 2013

Dear students,

Would you like to discuss the world’s most pressing issues with top decision-makers like Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Robert Dudley, Prof. Niall Ferguson, Christine Lagarde, Giorgos Papandreou, Sir David Tang or Ratan Tata? Are you interested in competing with the world’s brightest students?

If your answer to these questions is “yes”, seize your opportunity and qualify as “Leader of Tomorrow” for the St. Gallen Symposium through the student essay competition for the St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award. The St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s premier platform for intergenerational dialogue. The 43rd St. Gallen Symposium will be held from 30 April–3 May 2013 under the topic Rewarding Courage.

The GSS overseas trip is coming in this December!

This time we are going to Cameron Highland in Malaysia to enjoy the strawberry farm, tea plantations, and even have a chance to go hiking and explore the Mossy Forest! If you like to be close to nature and experience something different after this semester, sign up with your friends and start packing!

Date and Time:

Evening of 07th Dec to 09th Dec, 2012, weekend.

Cost:

S$188 for NUS postgraduate students,

S$208 for others.

The itinerary will be as follow:

· Day 1, Dec 07 Friday: Depart at 10pm.

· Day 2, Dec 08 Saturday: Arrive Cameron Highland, visit Strawberry Farm, Rose Garden, free time in the afternoon or go to Mossy Forest (optional tour).

· Day 3, Dec 09 Sunday: Tea plantation, waterfall. Come back to Singapore after lunch

Price includes:

· Return Air-con Coach between Singapore and Cameron Highland.

· Tour and Meals as 2B+2L+1D

· 1N stay in 5*Equatorial Cameron Highland hotel

· Group Travel Insurance.

· Great opportunity to meet new friends and join GSS.

Does Not include:

· VISA expenses

· Optional tour to Mossy Forest (we will collect money separately)

· Other personal expense.

All the meals and tours are included! We stay in five star hotels and the package is only SGD 188 for NUS postgraduate! You can also invite your friend (Non NUS post graduate students) to go with you for SGD 208.

The optional tour to Mossy forest is S$ 30 per person. The detailed itinerary is enclosed in the attachment.

Important Notes:

No refund within 3 weeks before the trip will be made, but the booking can be transferred to anyone if you wish.

If your registration is not successful, your entire money will be refunded to your account.
